Random Video Widget allows you to put a widget on your homescreen which will pick a random file from a folder of your choosing! This comes in handy if you have several episodes of a show and want to simply put a single icon on your homescreen to represent them. Or perhaps you have different audio files you wish to play - or flashcard images for learning. Great for toddlers, kids, or adults!
Please be aware that despite its name, this program will actually pick ANY file that is in the folder of your choosing - NOT just videos! You can also use this widget for pictures, music, or files of any type! You can also mix file types.
Instructions:
1) Long-press on an empty spot on your homescreen. Hold and drop the "Random Video Widget" from the list - a configuration screen will immediately appear.
2) Choose the background image of your choice, and type the caption you'd like to appear on the image.
3) Tap the "Choose Directory" button, and choose the folder/directory on your device that holds the files you'd like to pick from.
4) Tap "Finished - Add To Homescreen".
That's it! From there, whenever you tap on the widget, a random file from the directory you chose will be displayed! Feel free to resize the widget to any size you like.
